Advantages and disadvantages as tools to plan initial ideas and to show how you can break down client requirements and audience demographics.

Mind map advantages: They are engaging, easy to add to and adapt and is a more creative way to write information therefore assisting creativity

Mind map disadvantages:  can become large and confusing if not structured well, can be tough to understand for some people, software for mind mapping can be expensive, not in depth, lacks visual data, doesn’t plan time

Mood board advantages: it gives a clear visual representation of the initial ideas of what the productIon company have planned to fulfil the clients requirements, see font style and themes, easy to make, universally understood 

Mood board disadvantages: may be ignored, disliked or not what the client imagined, cant show all the ideas, not a lot of writing, can be disorganised, might not be specific enough, may not look professional, cant plan time and equipment  

Blue-sky thinking advantages:  all creative ideas are explored, free to expand into any ideas, can save time, lots of ideas, can assign roles

Blue-sky thinking disadvantages: could produce too many ideas and could have bad ideas, Disorganised, might not be detailed enough, could be repetitive, disagreements. 

SWOT analysis advantages: Organising potential problems, helps create contingency plans

SWOT analysis disadvantages: new threats could occur that weren’t involved originally, time consuming.
